Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoldIP website and services (the "Service") provided by GoldIP ("GoldIP", "we", "us", or "our"), a joint initiative operated by GBAIUR — Greater Bay Area Industry-University-Research Center and MY CREATIVE CENTER. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

GoldIP provides patent-intelligence tools that help users discover, evaluate, and track high-value patents and related data. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.

3. Subscriptions, fees & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. Any free trial automatically converts to a paid plan unless cancelled before it ends.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by scraping, reverse engineering, reselling data without authorization, infringing intellectual property, or interfering with the Service's operation or security.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by GoldIP and its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Patent records and similar data may originate from public and third-party sources and remain subject to their respective rights.

6. Disclaimers

The Service and all data are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. GoldIP does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any patent data or estimate, and such information does not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoldIP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the principal place of business of the operating entities, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. [To be confirmed by legal counsel.]
